What blogs are and why they become a power weapon for internet marketers

Oh! BLOGS! What a mad name to hit the Internet for the 'NEWEST' Internet marketing trend 2021.

But, I like that.

However, BLOGS have been around for quite some time and have only recently been recognised as a very useful tool to internet marketers, rendering this modern medium of communication kind of mysterious in a way.

"I recently visited some forums related to internet marketing and noticed many of the threads with similar "topics" saying... "What the hell are BLOGS? ”

So, I did a little research, and because I was really curious about myself, this is what I came up with.

I think it's best that I clearly describe what a "BLOG" is to you so that you can have a good image of what a Blog IS in your mind when I go through this article with you and that there will be no misunderstanding.

"By definition, a "BLOG"(A.K.A. Web Log) is:

A mix of a diary and/or a guestbook online. You sign up for an account with a blogger and then enter the details you want on your website. You can then set it so that you can only put entries on it or so that everyone can. You should then either keep a private journal or have a place where your readers can meet and place entries to each other or to you.

So... you've got it in a nut shell there.

To simplify it even further, let's just say that BLOGS is a place to go and post your personal thoughts that you can share and receive feedback with your subscribers and/or followers.

Now, now that you know the true meaning of a "Blog" for the purpose of this post, I will share with you some explanations why they are becoming a commonly known "POWER TOOL" for Internet marketers around the world.

So, having said that, let's go to Explanation #1.

Rationale #1. A perfect way to keep your subscribers in touch.

Blogs are a fantastic way to keep in contact with your subscribers and/or readership and generate traffic for your small group where you can connect with them on a regular basis.

It also helps to establish relationships that, in turn, help create the trust in you, your goods and/or services you recommend.

Rationale #2. This is an outstanding way to get "Feedback."

Blogs are a great way to get feedback from your subscribers/customers simply because they have the option to leave suggestions on each "Post" you make, which will then help you find what they are searching for to make YOU look like a "Hero" in your pocket and put $Money$ in your eye.

Rationale #3. It can be handled by ONE person.

Blogs need NO "HTML" background, making it simple to get started for Everyone.

Many online "Blog" groups use what's called an HTML editor for "WYSIWYG."

With the abbreviation "WYSIWYG" I lost you there. That just means, "What You See Is What You Get."

It's one of the simplest HTML editors to use, making it easy for you to start immediately.

Rationale #4. "You should mention the information of your "primary" website.

You are given an area to set up your "Personal Profile" when you sign up for your Blogger account, where you will list your main website and URL, plus any other personal details you want to share that will be shown on your page.

Rationale #5. A wonderful way to publish "Information."

This is possibly one of the biggest advantages for blogs because you have the ability to post insightful information for your subscribers and/or readership in the form of "Articles and/or Reviews" that will make you look like an authority on the topic and give you INSTANT credibility in your reader's eyes.

Rationale #6. You get a URL of your own.

That's right, if you have one, you get your very own URL that you can use in all your promotions and/or on your personal website.

This feature is fantastic, particularly for individuals who are just starting out and don't have their own website yet.

Here's my blog where you can take a look.

It's called... The Blog of Internet Wonders.

Rationale #7. They love search engines.

Blogs are loved by search engines because they are so 'Information Rich' and are always posted on a daily to weekly basis.

You will gain popularity with the search engines with your blog when you compare a standard static website, which may be updated on a monthly basis, to a blog, which is updated with NEW content on a daily to weekly basis.

To the S.E. "Spiders" will then happily stop by to munch down on any new content you have posted and more frequently index your website as that is what Search Engines want and are always searching for.

Rationale #8. For Blogs, the opportunity to use RSS.

The use of RSS(Real Simple Syndication) is a powerful feature of Blogs that allows you to automatically send your blog highlights to your readership upon publication, which will keep your reader up to date on your company and your products and/or services.

Not only that, RSS also gives your blog more visibility to a broader audience of subscribers in less time to create a larger readership.

It is a perfect way to create relationships and gain the interest of your subscribers and/or readership by simply introducing a human aspect to your organisation through the use of a "Blog," which will turn them into "Customers."

"Well, you have it there, "BLOGS! What they are... and why they are becoming an Internet marketer's power tool.

I hope that the questions you once had about "Blogs" and the advantages of starting one of your own have been answered clearly in this post.
